JORDAN BAKER
"She might have some decency not to telephone him at dinner time." Jordan is probably very loyal with this comment. -BG
' I was flattered that she wanted to speak to me, because of all the older girls I admired her most." - Jordan. Sows how much Jordan respects Daisy. She wants the best for her.

I agree with the post below. From her suggestive actions, she is more drawn to Nick and having his presence. " Jordan put her hand on my arm. "Won't you come in , Nick?""

Jordan Baker is starting to like Nick more and more. She doesnt appreciate how Daisey acts towards Gatsby in front of her. -BG
In Chapter one we learn that Jordan is a well known athlete around the area. By reading the text I assumed she is lazy due to the comments "I've been lying on that sofa for as long as I can remember" when the host mocked Jordan for how they don't understand how she gets anything done. I talked to Mr. A he said it was because she was drunk. She was suffering a hangover and dongs from the day before because the party all night and lay around all day.

Jordan blurts out everything in her mind, without really thinking knowing what she’s saying. In many cases throughout the story, she can act as comical relief, or she can blurt out a secret and create a twist in the plot. One of these instances is when she was the first to tell Nick of Tom’s mistress Myrtle.

In Ch. 3 Jordan claims to have a "remarkable" conversation with Gatsby, not telling Nick any further details until later in the story you find out that the conversation was about Gatsby himself and why he does what he does (throwing parties and other events).

"You said a bad driver was only safe until she met another bad driver? Well, I met another bad driver, didn't I? I mean it was careless of me to make such a wrong guess. I thought you were rather an honest, straightforward person. I thought it was your secret pride." L.T

Jordan pans Gatsby as "A lovesick, innocent, young soldier desperately trying to get the girl of his dreams." obviously not really fully understanding the full extent of Gatsby's actions and reasoning toward Daisy.
